Kudnkulm nuclear power plant project in India is disputed . Kudnkulm nuclear power plant is located in India's Tamil Nadu state Kutnkulm . Its construction began in 2002 and 13th July 2013 It's critical ( critical ) began. October 22, 2013 for the first time it started supplying power to the electrical grid . Two units of the plant 's original cost was 13171 million which was increased to 17 270 .Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority ( AERB) in August to 50 percent increase in energy levels in the reactor and the reactor was permitted to connect to the Power Grid . But due to some technical problems at the end of August , according to the schedule, it could be connected to the power grid
